Brice Hortefeux

I’m Brice Hortefeux, MEP for France since 2011 and previously from 1999 to 2005. I am Vice-President of the Auvergne Region – Rhône-Alpes and political advisor to the Les Républicains party. Previously, I served as Minister for Immigration, Integration and National Identity (2007-2009), Minister for Labour and Social Affairs (2009), Minister of the Interior (2009-2011) under President Sarkozy and Deputy Minister for territorial collectivities (2005-2007) under President Jacques Chirac. In the European Parliament, I am involved in issues related to migration, asylum, visa and terrorism.
